monowall + asterisk@home setup questions

guys,

our office plans to setup voip using asterisk@home, presently we are using
monowall on our LAN and DMZ on NAT. my question is do the asterisk box need
to have a public ip? is the setup similar to my DMZ which is on 1:1 Server
NAT? i need your expert opinions guys, i'm just new to monowall and my first
time to setup asterisk@home.
