Thanks for the gotcha. Actually, I did not use the config.xml from the working PC as I have not
been able to get that far....but it sounds like something that 'could' happen.

This might sound obvious, sorry if you already thought of it, but it helped
me so here goes:
I was in the same situation. Had a prototype running fine on a PC. Bought a
Soekris and uploaded the config.xml from the working PC into the Soekris.
Thought this was very slick that I didn't need to recreate all the
rules/settings, etc. It worked great!
EXCEPT: Some of the NICs were different in the PC than they are in the
Soekris. Took me a bit to figure out why the NICs were showing no carrier
when they had link lights. Even more confusing was that the LAN port was
working since it was the same driver as the LAN card I was using in the PC
but the WAN port was not.
Once I edited the config.xml to use the proper interface driver for the WAN
port, the Soekris works like a charm. This was not a Soekris or Monowall
problem, just user error on my part.
