I've tried:

* two different mirrors
* burning at 1x
* two different brands of media

I've come to the conclusion that something changed which is incompatible
with my system.  This is on a VIA Mini-ITX board (the fanless 600MHz
board).

As I mentioned earlier, the previous 10 PB releases have all booted just
fine.
