Captive portal on WAN interface

Hello,

      I have been playing with m0n0wall v1.22 and I haven't found a
solution to my problem. I am trying to make the capture portal on the WAN
interface. Is this possible? Instead of capturing outbound users; I want to
prevent users from the WAN from entering the LAN until authenticated.  I
guess I could swap the LAN and WAN interface and get it to work somewhat.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
