The PPTP server will assign 16 addresses, starting at the address entered

What is meant by "Enter the IP address the PPTP server should use on its
side for all clients."

Is the PPTP server running on m0n0, VPN'ing the clients into a separate
subnet, then routing them into the local LAN?
If so, does any other configuration beside choosing an unused subnet and a
block of 16 IP's need to be done on the firewall? Thank you,
