Another cause can be placement. I had a WRT54 in a room on one side of a corridor, and a laptop in an office on the other side of the corridor was fine... Untill a class lined up outside the classroom. Bodies hold water - water stops RF. Laptop promptly falls off the network. Try lifting your AP up higher, or moving it relative to wet things. Fibreboard/plaster/rockboard/gibboard are known to absorb water, as are papers like books. Good luck! -----Original Message----- From: Michael Graves [mailto:mgraves at mstvp dot com] Sent: Tuesday, 5 September 2006 9:36 a.m. To: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch; Lloyd Palfrey Subject: Re: [m0n0wall] Limited or no connectivity My Linksys WAP54G has always done this...from day one...for over two years.
