Thanks for all your replys..

I've done the channel changing which did help a bit. However I'm still
getting the problem. The annoying thing is the signal is very high but I
still get the error.

Annoyingly it also only apears to happen in the evenings? When I'm not
at work to "investigate". Any suggestions as to why it only happens in
the evenings would be great.

Thanks again for all your help.

- Lloyd

Another cause can be placement. I had a WRT54 in a room on one side of
a corridor, and a laptop in an office on the other side of the corridor
was fine... Untill a class lined up outside the classroom.

Bodies hold water - water stops RF. Laptop promptly falls off the
network.

Try lifting your AP up higher, or moving it relative to wet things.
Fibreboard/plaster/rockboard/gibboard are known to absorb water, as are
papers like books.

Good luck!

My Linksys WAP54G has always done this...from day one...for over two
years.
Firmware upgrades have had no impact. This alone makes voip over wifi
completely unreliable on my lan.
