It only needs 1 nic. The most secure option would be a DMZ, this way if
the box is hacked, they don't have access to anything on the corporate
lan. But having it in the green is much better than having it on the
firewall its self.

OK, so lets say you have a seperate box, you're using as a file server,
print server, NTP, SAMBA, Squid, etc. Has a harddrive. Would it need
more than 1 nic? Should be behind the firewall (not in DMZ)?
