Did you add a corresponding firewall rule?. In m0n0, NAT and firewalling are separate (as they should be). When I create NAT rules, I just check the bottom box that says "auto add a firewall rule..." . That's all you usually need. -Bryan ________________________________ From: Robert Fitzpatrick [mailto:lists at webtent dot net] Sent: Sun 10/1/2006 7:45 PM To: m0n0wall Subject: [m0n0wall] NAT not working Trying to setup m0n0wall for the first time to try out a configuration and can't even seem to get basic NAT working. I booted from CD with a floppy in the drive. Setup the LAN and WAN only, then entered my Inbound NAT entry for SSH to a PC on the inside, it automatically setup the rule, is that all that is needed? Seems I'm missing something else that is required to use NAT? -- Robert --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: m0n0wall dash unsubscribe at lists dot m0n0 dot ch For additional commands, e-mail: m0n0wall dash help at lists dot m0n0 dot ch |
