let me be a little more specific regarding the problem i'm having. used physdiskwrite 0.3 in xp to write image to cf card. shutdown, unplug windows hd, reboot. bios recognizes card as drive. i'm able boot (from cf) and get all the way to the console setup, but right above the menu are the following errors(and a few messages prior to error): ad2: 61MB <Hitachi CVM1.1.1> [978/4/32] at ata1-master PIO1 Mounting root from ufs:/dev/md0c mount: /dev/ad0a: Device not configured Warning: fopen(/conf/config.xml) [http://www.php.net/function.fopen]: failed to create stream: No such file or directory in /etc/inc/xmlparse.inc on line 121 Error: could not open XML input this last line repeats twice. the only setup option which seems to work is reset to factory options, which ends up in a reboot. i can get to the ok promt if i hit the "any" key during the kernel spinner, but i'm not really sure what options i can pass at that time to get passed the error listed above. any suggestions? steve |
