We use PPPOE for internet access here but with a different modem. If works
fine as long as you have a stable ADSL connection you should be fine. I am
not sure about your modem but if the cheap products that we use work, then
Cisco should work fine.

Hello! Has anyone here used Monowall in PPPoE mode with a Cisco 678 DSL 
modem? We've used Monowall extensively in many scenarios but not in 
PPPoE mode. Is it stable? Are there any specific issues to watch out
