Subject:  Perm Change to Kernel Parameters??
 Date:  Wed, 17 Jan 2007 16:50:01 -0800
Thanks for reading,

I've read 16.32 to create /boot/loader.rc and put kernel parameters
in there. I've manually entered what I need via exec.php, but I thought
kernel related parameters should go in /etc/sysctl.conf instead. In a pinch,
I was planning on just echoing the commands into exec.php to do what I need.
This machine is running on a PC with plenty of memory, and I was doing the
standard kern.ipc.maxsockbuf, net.inet.tcp.sendspace/recvspace changes to
improve network performance. I would like these settings to survive a
reboot.

Thanks!
