Look at the version numbers a bit more closely there - you were
running 1.3 beta 2, and actually downgraded to 1.23b3.  This is a
completely different version, another release in the 1.2x versions
still based on the old FreeBSD 4.x.  You'll have to wait for the next
1.3 beta. This is an example of why, IMO, the versions should be 1.2.x
and 1.3.x rather than not including the last dot, but this is how
Manuel likes to version releases.
