I want to make sure I am setting my network up correct with the many of you
that I consider "pros".
I have recently acquired a Cisco 2924XL 2U and I am going to be configuring
vlan with it.
Here is the topology that I would like to configure;
1. Vlan10 - LAN (interface sis0 - My FTP server, PC, Networked printer,
NOS on 192.168.1.0/24)
2. Vlan20 - WLAN1 (interface sis0 - Two wifi clients on 192.168.2.0/24)
3. Vlan30 - WLAN2 (Interface sis2 - Two wifi clients that need DMZ)
4. Vlan40 - WLAN3 (interface sis2 - Captive portal clients using two AP's)
So in the interface assignment I will assign:
LAN --> vlan10
Wan --> sis1
DMZ --> sis2 (what do I do with the DMZ interface assignment?) (I have two
vlan assigned to it)???
Would I need to bridge vlan30 and vlan40 with interface DMZ
under
"Interfaces: Assign network ports"
Opt2 --> vlan 20 on sis0
Opt3 --> vlan 30 on sis2
Opt4 --> vlan 40 on sis2
So I basically setup trunking on four #switchport trunk allow vlan10, 20,
30, 40?
Then I configure each port individually (4) LAN, wireless ap1, wireless ap2,
wireless ap3, wireless ap4
Lan port from 2924 will be connected to a hub to support lan printer, nos,
etc.
Does the above look correct?
