Hi, i'm developing a distributed application, connecting many remote points with a central point. These devices will exchange sensitive data with the central server. I'd like to plan an infrastructure that protects data security on the links between the remote points and the central point, so i'd like to use VPNs to protect the links. Speaking about point-to-lan (not site-to-site) VPNs, what is the theoretical limit number of VPN connections that a m0n0wall firewall can support? It's only an hardware problem, or there are software limitations? Should i use a PPTP or IPSEC for this purpouse? Thank you i.a. Marco |
