I've got a Soekris lan1641 in a 1u server running openbsd as our main firewall gives us a total of 4 10/100 + 2 10/100/1000 (onboard) ports. Works great! There is also a 1621 2 port model they are baised off of the National Semicondutor DP83816 chip. http://www.soekris.com/lan16x1.htm ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tim Nelson" <tnelson at rockbochs dot com> To: "Mono Wall list" <m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch> Sent: Friday, May 18, 2007 11:19:54 AM (GMT-0500) America/New_York Subject: [m0n0wall] Quad Port Ethernet Cards What is everyone using currently for quad ethernet cards, PCI based? We are looking for something that is relatively inexpensive. I remember hearing on the list about Intel and Realtek based cards. Are these recommended? -- Tim Nelson Technical Consultant Rockbochs Inc. |
