WOW, it's been a while, but...

I just swapped out 2 D-Link and an Intel PCI NICs for 3x "Intel Pro 100+ 
Dual Port PCI NIC 711269-003" cards.  Needless to say, the M0n0wall part 
was trivial and smooth, and the cards seem to be working great (unlike 
the never-to-be-sufficiently-accursed ZNYX ZX346Q quad card).
