Have you tried entering the MAC Address of the Netopia in the Monowall? That should allow it to
masquerade as the Netopia, as far as their system is concerned.

I do not know Netopia but I have a similar config
ADSL Modem in bridge mode.
My M0n0 on WAN is set to PPPoE.
