Dell SC440 server

I just recieved my new firewall.  I am using a poweredge SC440.  It has 2 - gb adapters.  One is
on-board and the other is is a Broadcomm 575 I think.  PF sense nor M0n0Wall will pick up the 575
adapter.  What can I do ?  I just replacing it with something else the answer or is there a fix?
