We have not turned to the BETA version yet.  I am just trying to find
out if maybe we are in overkill.  We have tuned a number of things and
hopefully, this will help.

I am running 1.3b1 with over 300 users behind it.  But everyone here
will 
tell you it depends on your hardware.
