>>There are no new features, but the WRAP image can now also be run on PC Engines ALIX.2 boards (tested on a prototype ALIX.2A) - the interfaces need to be re-assigned obviously (vr* instead of sis*). Does this mean that the WRAP will not come up again properly after an upgrade until the interfaces are re-assigned (through the console)? This is important to know for remote upgrades. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Manuel Kasper" To: m0n0wall dash announce at lists dot m0n0 dot ch Subject: [m0n0wall-announce] Beta 1.3b4 released Date: Sat, 25 Aug 2007 22:55:01 +0200 Hi, in an effort to correct the known/reproducible bugs in 1.3b3 (-> captive portal RADIUS and voucher support, MPD idle timeout, WPA init on boot), I've created a new beta version, 1.3b4. There are no new features, but the WRAP image can now also be run on PC Engines ALIX.2 boards (tested on a prototype ALIX.2A) - the interfaces need to be re-assigned obviously (vr* instead of sis*). The image name will stay "wrap..." for the time being to avoid confusion/problems with upgrades. For ALIX.1C, the generic-pc image should be used. Note that the console speed for the wrap image is now 38400 (instead of 9600); this makes more sense since 38400 is the default for new WRAP/ALIX boards (with the FreeBSD 4.11 kernel, it was possible to simply use whatever speed the BIOS set the serial port to, but unfortunately, this doesn't work with 6.2 anymore - unless somebody patches it back in).
