Yesh I forgot about senao usb adapters.... well by now I alredy rewired my
laptop (oh yes oim now using laptop) instead of regular car pc :) so now I
have free miniPCI available :)

7 Miles ... hmm where do you live? We can't get 400mw to 400mW directional
bridge to work on more then 2 miles... at 2 miles we getting -84dBi 3-1MBps
Now days the network density in NYC grew like by 5000% percent comparing to

Actually, they have powerfull USB WiFi Cards, and better than that you can
mount any antenna you want onto them...

I have used these for a few years, I can grab a signal from over 3 miles
away when I use this, and a little 14db panel antenna, and if I use a 24dbi
unit, I get 7 miles out of it.

Good luck,  I have a few of their products now, and I am VERY happy with
them, most of them running in some form of MonoWall Box.
