from the console, set the nics,  log in and re-upload the old config, then re assign the nics again
and I think you'll be good to go...  or assign the nics, download the new config and merge it with
the old config...

I am going to install a m0n0 on some temporary hardware.  Eventually,
we will replace the hardware.  When we do, the new hardware may have
different or more NIC's.  How will m0n0 handle it if I reload the
saved configuration from the older hardware?
