Hi both to Jimmy and Chris
The issue is confusing but, BOTH of you are right!
I think cisco did something wrong
Exist 2 different releases of this card (same name!)> one can works 
w/ 1700 series and another w/ x800 series.
There is also a 4 port ethernet (10BaseT) for 1700 and 2600
