Hi I recently upgraded our internet connection to 25/2.5 Mbit and the Wrap tops out at round 20Mbit. I have since bought an ALIX 2c3 (and just ordered 6 more) and it can cope with full throughput with about 20 rules. I tried adding a Wireless card but could not get it to distribute IPs. This is probably just a question on setting up rules to allow full access to the system. My new ALIXs arrive tomorrow and I will do a bit of testing over the weekend (wireless, not speed) All the best Sebastian -----Original Message----- From: Nicolai Scheer [mailto:scope at planetavent dot de] Sent: Donnerstag, 7. My internet connection is 18mbit/s down and 1mbit/s up (ADSL2+, PPPoE) and my WRAP handles both directions at full speed without any problems. Just a remark: When I used version 1.2.x of m0n0wall I was able to browse the m0n0wall GUI while doing a full-speed download. Using 1.3b.x this is not possible anymore, so the WRAP does handle the traffic but somehow reaches its limit. bye, Nico --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: m0n0wall dash unsubscribe at lists dot m0n0 dot ch For additional commands, e-mail: m0n0wall dash help at lists dot m0n0 dot ch |
