Can't get out to ISP

I have been running a hardware firewall that is 10 years old and needs to be replaced.

I have loaded m0n0 and am running it on a virtual machine.

I can get out on the LAN fine....my problem is the WAN
I can't get out to my ISP
I can ping my interface 207.173.201.178, but I can't ping the gateway (207.173.201.1).
I can get out just fine from the host machine (running VM), but not m0n0.

Any help/pointers would be greatly appreciated.
