Yes, this started with 1.3b10. And yes, back to 1.3b9 it works.
I put the flash card with 1.3b10 into another machine (a former small 
cashier PC) now. It booted there, so the problem is not the card or the 
adapter.
I will report if at least the DHCP-issue has been solved.
