It was on a boat in a covered slip, so it was 130 yards over water, 
under a metal roof, filled with metal supports, VHF radio antennas, 
fishing outriggers, masts, stays, and another 100 yards of trees, and a 
large pool.  To see it, fire up Google earth.  715 N. Holiday Drive, 
Galveston, Texas, 77550  The base station was in the office closest to 
the pool and hot tub.  29°19'3.29"N  94°46'32.73"W My boat was the third 
pier in, slip 64 out of 115.  29°19'9.90"N  94°46'36.39"W  And looking 
at the map it looks a bit under 400 yards right now...
