Thanks, had to fiddle until it worked again, but it was quite simple after that. I had to put the tags before every command, since I first tried to <shellcmd>, put the three ifconfigs on it's own line, ended with </shellcmd> Now my three VLAN's are at 1496 mtu value... great thing...
