Hello Manuel,
First of all I am kind of new to this network stuff.
Second I really like monowall for it offers me an easy way to setup a HOTSPOT for my scouting group.
What I am going to describe could be a bug on my philips router side instead of a monowall bug.
Here is the story
When I connect monowall WAN to my philips router and this router is configured as dhcp server,
monowall does not take the offered IP address.
Here is a log on the philips router side.
(I took this from the mailing list...)

expiry> time on offered lease. > > I sure looks like my router (this is an other

The DHCP offer in the philips router is set as not to expire. (there are more routers which can do
Can't monowall handle this ? Could this be bug.
This forces me to have a static IP address on the WAN side.
