Greetings, Peopleoids!

Can someone please lead me through the steps involved in setting up a very 
basic set of instructions for the Traffic Shaper? I have a very simple setup:

ISP has given me X.125.246.0/128
Router owned by ISP is at X.125.246.1/25
m0n0wall WAN adapter is: X.125.246.2/25
m0n0wall LAN adapter is: 192.168.5.254
m0n0wall serves LAN DHCP

What I want to do, simply, is limit all traffic coming and going from LAN to 
WAN to 256K down and 128K up. I am not at all certain how to do this given I 
am not sure how pipes and queues work.

Maybe once I get this going I can add more sophisticated bandwidth management.
