Hi Tim 

There is accually a cf slot on the motherboard and all cmos and bios settings has been cleared, just
found a ide -> cf adapter and that worked like a charm. 

so its only the onboard cf reader that produce the problem, but i can live with the ide -> cf
adapter really.
