How often is the CF card written on normal operation?

Hi list,
I have a net45xx board and my question is:
    How often is the card written to in normal operation?
I understand, that the events:
    - upgrade software
    - changes rules
needs writing.

I am just curious, because I do want to loose the industrial CF card too
early ;-)
