Well, the current release of SVG causes Firefox to crash if you copy the dll to the plugin directory. However, if you download and install the 6.0 preview 1, it works fine in both IE and Firefox. http://www.adobe.com/svg/viewer/install/beta.html Download and install the plugin from the link above. Once it's installed, copy 'NPSVG6.*' from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\SVG Viewer 6.0\Plugins to the Firefox plugin directory. Restart Firefox if it's not already closed. You should be good to go! - worked for me at least ;). -Brad -----Original Message----- From: taharka [mailto:res00vl8 at alltel dot net] Sent: Saturday, March 27, 2004 8:36 PM To: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch Subject: RE: [m0n0wall] Beta version 1.1b1 available > Aaah, didn't know you needed a plugin. > > Downloaded the SVG plugin manually and everything worked nicely in IE6. > > Thanks That was going to be my next step but, I don't trust IE at all :-( I also have Win98 SE on a laptop & IE has been hack sawed out of the OS. Just got off Opera's website & found instructions for installing the SVG plugin. You need to copy NPSVG3.dll & NPSVG3.zip to the Opera/Program/Plugins directory if anyone is interested :-) Anyone here have info for installing the SVG plugin into Firefox/Phoenix? --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
