Does anyone know of or do layer 7 traffic shaping with m0n0wall or
freebsd of any sort. We would like to institute this on our wireless
network. For now we filter by port but would like application layer
more. I know that it is possible in some way because there are
devices that accomplish it but the problem is they are like $10,000
or more in most cases. I have heard that the linux 2.6 kernel has
this capability, but I do not feel ready to implement 2.6 just yet a
production environment.

Thanks!
