Hi, Both of the ones i'm just using are RealTek RTL8139 Cards, from 2 different "no-name" , at least not "well-known" manufacturers.... Under http://www.freebsd.org/releases/4.9R/hardware-i386.html#ETHERNET the Realtek RTL8139 are listed as supported. Cheers, Holger ------- Forwarded message ------- From: "Adam Nellemann" <adam at nellemann dot nu> To: Holger Götz <holgerg at hgsys dot de> Subject: Re: [m0n0wall] mOnOwall "card type 32-bit cardbus is not supported" Date: Fri, 09 Apr 2004 09:40:52 +0200 Hi Holger, I'm far from an expert, so you might want to wait for others to post an answer for your question, but in the meantime: Have you checked to see if your card is supported by FreeBSD 4.9? I get the impression that not many cards are! It might even be that "32-bit cardbus" cards aren't supported at all, but I wouldn't know? You should be able to find linkage to a list of supported NICs by searching the list archive. Hope this helps (but as I said, better wait for the gurus to answer to be sure!) Adam.
