Thought this might be of interest in case people didn't know... http://www.freelists.org/archives/pf4freebsd/02-2004/msg00017.html carp & pf are on FreeBSD ports now. it was in freebsd current so should be available soon, but mono can't run reliably on the most recent releases, (5.x). pf => pf_freebsd-2.03 but I guess carp is just a part of current, which means smooth integration with 4.9 is probably a ways off... even then, wouldn't this have to replace mono's use of ipfw? or can these coexist? Just passing on what I found to those who might know better ;-) Thanks. m/ > -----Original Message----- > From: Curt Shaffer [mailto:curt at chilitech dot net] > Sent: Friday, April 16, 2004 9:33 AM > To: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch > Subject: [m0n0wall] failover solution > > > http://www.countersiege.com/doc/pfsync-carp/ > > wasn't sure if any developers would like to take a stab at adding that > feature.
