 From what I can see in the image there aren't any USB drivers in the 
kernel.  I needed to add a USB multiport serial adapter and hit a dead 
end.  It's easy to add the USB support just by recompiling the kernel 
though.

I for one would like to have the USB drivers in the kernel.  It would 
save me a bit of work.
