I've read the archives, and I cannot find out how to allow ping to pass outside the local (LAN) subnet. The 2 things I want to do are: 1) Be able to ping websites (eg 'ping www.google.com' and 'ping m0n0.ch') 2) Reply to a ping sent at my address (eg. someone else types 'ping my_ip_address' and they get a response) Right now I can ping other machines inside the LAN, and I can ping the m0n0wall, but I cannot ping websites. Coming from the WAN, no ICMP echo is returned. Thanks for all the help. |
