If you set the m0n0wall box up as per the installation instructions, then
the IPs are never lost after a reboot.  This includes using a writable
floppy if you are booting from CD.

If this is not what you meant, then please explain what you actually meant.

An IP Address is an IP Address is an IP Address - there are no small ones,
nor no big ones.  :)
