IPSec VPN on LAN Side?

I have successfully setup an IPSec connection between a laptop on the
WAN side with the m0n0wall.  However, I now want to setup an IPSec
connection between the laptop connected to the LAN interface.  I can't
get it to work...  Is this even possible?
