You can do it using Linux and the HostAP driver. It comes with a utility
that let you upgrade firmware of any Prism card provided you have the
right firmware. Look for prism2_srec utility. Firmwares are available
to download for free at Netgate's support web page. You can find a link
anywhere in the HostAP web site.
