block IP range (MSN)

Dear m0nwall friends, 
 
I would like to block the MSN servers on the m0nwall firewall (version 1.0)
and block the complete IP range for example from 207.46.107.1 to
207.46.107.254.
I created a firewall rule, but I don't understand blocking the complete IP
range. I selected destination, type "network" and entered the ip address
207.46.107.1. 
After thatI I have to select a number after the slash (/1.. /2.../3.......
./31), but I don't know what.
 
Can anyone explain me how it works?
