Regards, Joachim P.S. Maybe you should search google a bit for some basic network knowledge (ip, subnet, routing, firewall, NAT, bridge, etc), this will help you in the future to understand the problems better (this is how I learn every day!). -----Original Message----- From: Assinatura de Listas To: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch; toledo at toledo dot ath dot cx; mk at neon1 dot net Sent: 6/10/03 20:48 Subject: [m0n0wall] Can't open any sites in Internet Explorer!! My DNS servers are the same ones I use when my modem is not in bridge (PPTP) mode. I have also checked the "Enable DNS forwarder" in the Services -> DNS Forwarder section. I can ping any site at dos prompt and I am able to see its ip number.... Curiously, only www.google.com.br can be opened in the Internet Explorer!! Any hints?? You rather need something like 172.207.1.2/24 or /16 (should match the subnet mask of the ADSL modem). Also make sure that you've got the DNS stuff set up properly. - Manuel --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: m0n0wall dash unsubscribe at lists dot m0n0 dot ch For additional commands, e-mail: m0n0wall dash help at lists dot m0n0 dot ch .. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: m0n0wall dash unsubscribe at lists dot m0n0 dot ch For additional commands, e-mail: m0n0wall dash help at lists dot m0n0 dot ch ----------------------------------------------- MISSION STATEMENT ----------------------------------------------- Oce enables its customers to manage their documents efficiently and effectively by offering innovative print and document management products and services for professional environments. ----------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER ----------------------------------------------- This e-mail message and any attachment are intended for the sole use of the recipient(s) named above and may contain information which is confidential and/or protected by intellectual property rights.
