I have browsed the recent changelogs with no indication if the TFTP DHCP attribute option has been incorporated into the recent betas of m0n0wall. I'm running v1.0 here, expecting to upgrade soon... does anyone know whether or not this has been done, or, if not, the likelihood that it will be done? I have some diskless clients that I'd like to boot over the network, and I would like to give DHCPD a TFTP server to pass them off. (Jason, I reviewed your patches but am not sure how current they are relative to the recent betas, etc). Thanks all! -----Original Message----- From: Jason Crowley [mailto:jcrowley at kc dot rr dot com] Sent: Friday, May 14, 2004 9:51 AM To: 'Garry Taylor'; m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch Subject: RE: [m0n0wall] DHCP - other attributes Here are the two files to add PXE and tftp options to the DHCP page. I posted these once before, but I didn't have the files linked right. http://home.kc.rr.com/innonet/services.inc (put this file in /etc/inc) http://home.kc.rr.com/innonet/services_dhcp_edit.php (put this file in /usr/local/www) Maybe Manuel will see fit to add these updates to the next revision of m0n0wall? Anyway, I hope it helps you, Garry. -Jason -----Original Message----- From: Garry Taylor [mailto:gtaylor at proxim dot com] Sent: Friday, May 14, 2004 7:29 AM To: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch Subject: [m0n0wall] DHCP - other attributes Hi All, Sorry if this has been asked before. Is there anyway to get the DHCP server to provide other DHCP attributes, I have some devices that need the tftp server attribute, cause when they boot they need to get their config. files from the tftp server. I guess the real question is, can I access the "dhcpd.conf" file and edit it myself?
