I'm not sure how well any *other* setup works...I'm pretty sure that nothing in the bridge code tries to enforce this. m0n0wall is a little more strict than that in that it only supports bridging two interfaces per bridge group. One of those interfaces must have an IP address and the other must be unnumbered. Note that the recent m0n0wall 1.1 betas support VLANs interfaces. It might be possible to do a bridging setup with two physical interfaces and a VLAN interface attached to one of the physical interfaces. I haven't tried this, but I can't think of any reason this wouldn't work. Bruce. | ||||||||||
