One more question on customizations.

I'd like to add something into the radius portion that not only 
authenticated against the radius server but also checked a remote mysql 
table for a record of that username.

I know PHP and I feel confident I can figure out how to add this, but 
I'm having some trouble reading the hackers guide.  I have a base 
4.10-RELEASE system (I can install 4.8 if need be (as said in the 
docs)).  Is there an easy way to install the m0n0wall source onto my 
base system?
