Does M0n0wall do Real Static NAT?
So, the system only change the IP addres of a packet, and it doesn't take care
of the protocol inside it (TCP/ICMP/UDP/RDP, etc).
So:
OUT/IN
200.61.155.83 +----------------+ 10.16.200.10
----------------| <-M0n0Wall-> |---------------
+----------------+
Advanced outbound nat sends ip trafic with the especified IP, but inbound nat
only passes to service packets (tcp/udp ports). No general ip trafic passes.
Pix and Netscream Firewalls can do this. I think its must for M0n0.
Well... thats all.
Thanks
