I too have had problems with the kernel patches.  The instructions
aren't quite right (I had to be in /usr/src and do patch
<m0n0/patchname), and some of the patches would not apply cleanly to
my 4.10 stable cvsup.

I posted about this to m0n0wall-dev this weekend, but never got a response.

I would like to get a netgear ga620 working in a m0n0wall with all the
kernel patches, but since I can't get them all to apply, I'm trying to
find an adapter that is supported out of the box.  The netgear ga620
needs the ti(4) driver, which isn't in the stock m0n0wall kernel.  :(
