Ok, I know this is a Windows is broke question, but I can't get a tunnel that I though WAS working on m0n0wall last night to work today. (from same subnet, just checking the authentication) Pptp server on m0n0wall P18r522, T1 static IP. Client is Windows XP coming from a NAT (with complete pass through) on T3. Error 619 connecting, relevant logs: mpd: [pptpc0] LCP: not converging Oct 21 09:58:34 mpd: Not supported Oct 21 09:58:34 mpd: CALLBACK Oct 21 09:58:34 mpd: ACFCOMP Oct 21 09:58:34 mpd: PROTOCOMP Oct 21 09:58:34 mpd: MAGICNUM 43852d61 Oct 21 09:58:34 mpd: MRU 1400 Oct 21 09:58:34 mpd: [pptpc0] LCP: rec'd Configure Request #5 link 0 (Req-Sent) Oct 21 09:58:33 mpd: ENDPOINTDISC [802.1] 00 d0 09 f1 1b a2 Oct 21 09:58:33 mpd: MP SHORTSEQ Oct 21 09:58:33 mpd: MP MRRU 1600 Oct 21 09:58:33 mpd: AUTHPROTO CHAP MSOFTv2 Oct 21 09:58:33 mpd: MAGICNUM 0efec3a0 Oct 21 09:58:33 mpd: MRU 1500 Oct 21 09:58:33 mpd: PROTOCOMP Oct 21 09:58:33 mpd: ACFCOMP Oct 21 09:58:33 mpd: [pptpc0] LCP: SendConfigReq #63 Oct 21 09:58:31 mpd: ENDPOINTDISC [802.1] 00 d0 09 f1 1b a2 Oct 21 09:58:31 mpd: MP SHORTSEQ There's more of it, but in summary, it appears that the XP client is trying to force a callback, and mpd doesn't want to. Anyone seen this before, and how do I beat XP into just accepting that IT isn't going to be called back? Thanks! Greg Nicholson |
